HEINLE iRADIO PODCASTS

What are Heinle iRadio Podcasts?…

Heinle iRadio is a program Heinle World Languages has introduced to deliver language-specific podcasts to its customers. The program takes advantage of a technology known as podcasting.  Podcasts function much like a short radio show or program, and can be played on your computer or downloaded directly onto portable MP3 players.

Podcasting makes use of RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds for distributing audio and video content across the Web. By using an RSS aggregator (such as iTunes), listeners can subscribe to audio or video files and view them from their personal computers or mobile devices, such as mp3 players.
